Data sharing via Murmurations

Last updated 24.05.2026

In early 2026 we implemented data sharing via Murmurations.network. Murmuration is a hub for sharing geolocation data. Data that has been shared with Murmurations can be picked up by others - and for example build a map from it.

The following content types can be shared:

  • Projects & Places
  • Organisations

Both require the address being filled in and the geocoding to work properly. Geocoding means that from the entered address longitude and latitude gets fetched.

In either of the content types a “data sharing” tickbox can be ticked.

Once you have opted for data sharing we will process your data and send it to Murmurations.

You can always untick the box - and then we will process your data again and delete it from the Murmurations index.
